Educational Qualification

Level 4/5: Degree from a recognized university *and* typing proficiency on computers.
Level 2: 10th pass *or* 10th pass + ITI/National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) from NCVT. No engineering diploma accepted.
Level 1: 10th pass *or* ITI passed *or* NAC from NCVT.

Eligibility – Sports Standards

Achievements must be verified for the current or immediate preceding two financial years (on or after 01‑04‑2024) and the applicant must be an active player.

Level 1: Participation in Commonwealth/Asian Championship, World Railways, World University Games OR at least 3rd place in Senior Federation Cup OR at least 8th place in Senior Nationals.
Level 2: Representation in World Cup/World Championship/Olympics OR at least 3rd place in Commonwealth/Asian Championships OR at least 3rd place in Senior National/Games/Inter‑University.
Level 4/5: Category A representation (Olympic Games) OR Gold Medal in Asian Games OR at least 3rd place in World Cup/World Championship/Commonwealth Games (Senior/Junior).

Selection Process & Weightage

Sports Achievements – 50 marks
Field Game Skills & Fitness Trials – 40 marks (minimum 25/40 to be declared FIT)
Educational Qualification – 10 marks

Overall qualifying marks: 60 for Level 1, 65 for Level 2, 70 for Level 4/5.
