National Institute of Design (NID), Assam, Jorhat has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 5 Associate Senior Design Instructor, Design Instructor, Technical Instructor and Senior Assistant (Finance & Accounts) posts. NID Assam Vacancy Details

1. Associate Senior Design Instructor

No of posts: 1 post, OBC

Pay: Pay Level 7: Rs. 44,900 – 1,42,400/-

Educational Qualification:

A Degree in the relevant discipline/subject from a recognized institution with 4 (Four) years’ post qualification experience in the relevant field.

OR

Diploma holder in the relevant field with 6 (Six) years’ post qualification experience in the relevant field

Relevant Discipline/area/subject may be referred to as:
For Industrial Design: B Tech, B Arch, B Des in Industrial Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts-(Ceramic/Sculptor) Or Diploma in Civil/Mech/Arch/Electronic or Allied fields. {inAds}

2. Design Instructor

No of posts: 2 posts (Discipline: 1-Communication Design, 1-Textile & Apparel Design), UR/ OBC: 1 each

Pay: Pay Level 6: Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/-

Educational Qualification:

3 years Diploma in relevant discipline/area/ subject from a recognized institution with 4(Four) years post qualification experience in the relevant industry/educational institution

OR

A Degree in relevant area/ subject from a recognized Institution with 2 (two) years post qualification experience in the relevant industry/ institution.

Relevant Discipline/area/subject may be referred to as:
For Textile & Apparel Design: Degree / Diploma in Textile Design For Communication Design: Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Animation (2D/3D), Digital Media, Visual Communication, Applied Art, Fine Art, or an equivalent discipline.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, as on the last date of application.

3. Technical Instructor

No of posts: 1 post, UR: 1

Pay: Pay Level 6: Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/-

Educational Qualification:

3 years Diploma in relevant area/ subject from a recognised institution. With 4(Four) years post qualification in the relevant industry/educational institution

or

A Degree in relevant area/ subject from a recognised Institution with 2(two) years post qualification experience in the relevant industry/ institution.

Relevant Discipline/area/subject may be referred to as:

For Textile & Apparel Design: Degree / Diploma in Textile Design
For Communication Design: Degree/Diploma in Multimedia, Animation (2D/3D), Digital Media, Visual Communication, Applied Art, Fine Art, or an equivalent discipline.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years, as on the last date of application.

4. Senior Assistant (Finance & Accounts)

No of posts: 1, OBC: 1

Pay: Pay Level 6: Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400/-

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or equivalent from a recognized University / Institute. Proficiencies in computers and uses of utilities, software, etc.

Desirable Experience: Relevant experience in Finance & Accounts related matters in Government /Educational Institution.{inAds}
