Eligibility Criteria

  • Primary Stage (Class I‑V) – Minimum 50% in Senior Secondary (or equivalent) and passed/appearing in the final year of a 2‑year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Alternative qualifications include 45% with a 2‑year D.El.Ed, 4‑year B.El.Ed, or 2‑year Diploma in Special Education.
  • Secondary Stage (Class VI‑VIII) – Graduation with at least 50% marks (or 45% for certain categories) and passed/appearing in a 1‑year B.Ed, 4‑year B.El.Ed, 4‑year B.A/B.Sc.Ed, or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed. Candidates with a 2‑year Diploma in Elementary Education are also eligible.
  • All candidates must meet the NCTE (Recognition) norms applicable at the time of application.
