CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology (CSIR-NEIST) Jorhat has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 4 Junior Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant and Junior Hindi Translator posts in CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat. 1. Junior Stenographer

Pay scale: Level – 4 (Basic Pay Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/) As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix

2. Junior Secretariat Assistant

No of posts: 1 post, [UR/ ESM: 1]

Pay scale: Level –2 (Basic Pay Rs 19,900 - 63,200/-) As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix

3. Junior Hindi Translator

No of posts: 1 posts, [UR: 1]

Pay scale: Level-06 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)

Eligibility Criteria of NEIST Jorhat Recruitment

Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.

Age Limit

Post-wise age limit is as mentioned below.

Age Relaxation: Age relaxation wherever applicable shall be granted as per CSIR/GoI guidelines.

Educational Qualification

Post	Educational Qualification
Junior Stenographer	10+2/ XII or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Junior Secretariat Assistant	10+2/ XII or its equivalent and proficiency in computer typing speed and in using computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Junior Hindi Translator	Master's degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level.

Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths or the Municipal Corporation or any other prescribed authority, whosoever has been empowered under the Registration of Birth and Deaths Act, 1969 to register the birth of a child born in India (only if DOB not mentioned in Secondary or Senior Secondary School Certificate).
Any other relevant certificate/ document.
