About Recruitment

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) invites candidates to apply online for undergraduate (BA LLB) and postgraduate (LLM) programmes for the 2026 academic year. The admission process is conducted through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can submit their applications, pay the fee online, and appear for the exam scheduled on 7 December 2025.

Age Limit

There is no upper age limit for CLAT 2026. All eligible candidates may apply.

Educational Qualification

  • BA LLB (UG) – Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories). Candidates appearing for the qualifying exam are also eligible.
  • LLM (PG) – LL.B. degree from any recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks (50% for reserved categories). Candidates appearing for the final year are also eligible.
