Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences (SSUHS) has released the official admission notification for admission into ANM courses under Directorate of Health Services (FW), Govt. of Assam in Govt. ANM Training Schools for the session 2026 – 2027. For this purpose, an entrance examination, i.e., ANM Entrance Examination (ANMEE) 2026 will be conducted on 11th October 2026. Eligibility Criteria of Assam ANM Admission
Citizenship: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
PRC: The candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam and must furnish a certificate to this effect.
Gender: Only female candidates are allowed to apply for ANM Course.
Age Limit: Candidates' age must be between 17 years to 35 years as on 31st December 2026.
Age Relaxation: For Anganwadi Workers, Asha Workers, and Trained Dias, the upper age limit for admission to ANM Schools is relaxed from 35 to 42 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board.
