About Post : Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the latest update regarding Forest Guard (Van Rakshak) and Wild Life Guard Recruitment 2023. This recruitment was announced for a total of 709 posts and is considered one of the important vacancies for candidates seeking government jobs in the forest and wildlife department of Uttar Pradesh.

Candidates who had applied for this recruitment have already gone through different stages such as eligibility result and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Now, the commission has officially released the PET Result 2026 for this recruitment. Candidates who appeared in the PET exam conducted between 10 February to 19 February 2026 can now check their result.

This recruitment process started in September 2023 and has progressed step by step. After the eligibility result was declared in October 2024, candidates were shortlisted for PET examination. The PET exam was a crucial stage that tested candidates’ physical endurance and fitness.

To be eligible for this recruitment, candidates must have passed 10+2 Intermediate examination and should also have a valid UPSSSC PET 2022 scorecard. Along with educational qualification, candidates must also fulfill physical standards such as height and long-distance running.

The Forest Guard post requires candidates to complete 25 km running within 4 hours carrying weight, which makes it one of the toughest physical tests. Female candidates are required to complete 14 km running within the given time.

Candidates who qualify in PET will move forward to the next stage of the selection process, which includes document verification and final merit preparation. It is advised that candidates keep their documents ready and stay updated with official announcements.
