About Post : Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has officially released the notice regarding the Mains Written Examination for the post of Police Sub Inspector (SI) under Advertisement No. 05/2025. Candidates who have successfully qualified in the preliminary examination are now eligible to appear in the main written examination.

As per the official notice, the BPSSC SI Mains Examination 2026 will be conducted on 27 May 2026 (Wednesday) in two shifts across various examination centers in Bihar. This is a crucial stage in the recruitment process, and candidates must prepare thoroughly to secure their position in the final merit list.

The first shift of the examination will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be held from 02:30 PM to 04:30 PM. Candidates are required to report to the examination center well before the reporting time to complete all necessary formalities.

According to the official notification, the e-admit card for the BPSSC SI Mains Exam 2026 will be available from 13 May 2026 on the official website of BPSSC. Candidates must download their admit card online, as it will not be sent via post. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination center.

Candidates must ensure that their photograph and details on the admit card are clearly visible. In case the photograph is unclear or missing, candidates should carry additional passport-size photographs to the exam center.

The commission has also provided an option for candidates who are unable to download their admit card online. Such candidates can visit the BPSSC office in Patna on 22 May 2026 between 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM to obtain a duplicate admit card by submitting required documents.

The examination will be conducted in OMR-based format, and candidates must carefully follow all instructions while filling the answer sheet. Any mistake in marking details like roll number, booklet number, or signature may lead to disqualification.

Candidates are also advised to keep their admit card safe even after the examination, as it may be required during further stages such as Physical Test, Document Verification, and Final Selection.
