BPSC AEDO Exam 2026 Cancelled: New Exam Date Soon, Check Notice

About Post : Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially cancelled the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) Recruitment Examination 2026 which was conducted between 14 April to 21 April 2026. This decision has been taken after reports of malpractice attempts at several examination centers surfaced during the exam process.

As per the official press release issued on 01 May 2026, the Commission detected the use of unfair means such as Bluetooth devices and other electronic gadgets by some candidates. These activities were identified due to strict monitoring and alertness of the district administration.

BPSC has clarified that strict action has been taken against those involved in malpractice. FIRs have been registered, and around 32 candidates have been debarred from appearing in future BPSC examinations. This strong action reflects the Commission’s zero-tolerance policy towards cheating and unfair practices.

However, it is important to note that BPSC has clearly stated that no evidence of question paper leak was found during the investigation. No question paper was recovered outside the exam process, and no confirmed leak was detected.

Despite this, due to growing concerns raised through newspapers and social media regarding exam integrity, the Commission decided to cancel the entire AEDO examination conducted across all 9 shifts. This decision has been taken in the interest of maintaining transparency and fairness for genuine candidates.

Additionally, BPSC has also cancelled another examination — Assistant Public Sanitation and Waste Management Officer Exam held on 23 April 2026 under Advertisement No. 108/2025.
